Dewey Reviews A Book
I’m back again for another amazing blog post.
I guess my spectacular writing has grabbed people’s attention. My human has told me that I have to review a book with cats in it. As she was reading it to me, because let’s face it, I am not going to use my brain power to actually read. That’s what my human is for, so I make her read it to me. Sometimes she uses her magic screen thing to make other people read, and I like that a lot better. My human has a terrible reading voice, but I won’t tell her that… to her face.

Okay, so the book smells like a book, and I’m not allowed to chew on it; otherwise, my human gets mad. She lets my brother chew on bags and paper, but if I do it, it’s the end of the freaking world. I guess I do sell the books, so I probably shouldn’t taste them.
I found that the book she read to me was sorely lacking in the cat department. The cats should have been the main characters, not the silly humans. Also, who wants a love story between humans? I want more of the daily life of cats. I did like that the cats seemed to run the shelter. I did like that the main character, a human, saved some kittens in the story, but yeah. There were too many humans and not enough cats.
I will give this book a score on a scale from 1 to a kitten. I don’t think I need to explain the rating system. You’ll just have to figure it out yourself.
Alright, I am bored with this.
Bye.
Char’s note: Dewey was reviewing the book, Agnes Aubert’s Mystical Cat Shelter by Heather Fewcett.
