February Is Over And Now On To March
Romance was in the air, and books were in hand. I think this month was good! I may not have gone by my TBR at all! Haha. Oops! Also, I unfortunately did DNF another book this month. It was a hockey romance that was actually pretty boring. I thought it would be really entertaining, but the author focused too much on the small moments and not enough on the bigger ones. With all that said, here’s what I did read:
Toe to Toe by Falon Ballard – 5 stars

Heated Rivalry by Rachel Reid 4 stars
The Naked Truth by Ana Kirk Shaw – 3 stars
Tough Guy by Rachel Reid – 4 stars
Hexmate by Blake R. Wolfe – 1 star
The Ex- Girlfriend Murder Club by Gloria Chao – 3 stars
The Gingerbread Bakery by Laurie Gilmore – 2 stars
Monster in the Moonlight by Annelise Ryan – 5 stars
Knot Quite A Fairytale- by Iris Aster – 2 stars
Tentacles & Triathlons by Ashley Bennett – 3 stars
How To Kill A Guy In Ten Dates by Shailee Thompson – 5 Stars
This month has been a struggle for me. I knew that doing a monthly TBR would make what I’ve read more interesting. I even decided to put out what I do read. I have a very eclectic taste, and I always go back to romance as a palate cleanser and just what I’m comfortable with. So please understand that while my tastes aren’t for everyone. I know that, but I felt that if I was going to do this, I might get a little uncomfortable putting out what I do read. I don’t always stick with my TBR. I try, but sometimes I just have to do what my mood wants. So be prepared to see some super weird choices and also fun reviews you might never have thought to read. Just please be kind. I am a human, and while what I read might give you weird feelings, feel free to skip the review. I try to cater to everyone’s genres. With all that said…. Let’s talk about next month!
March is a random month. It’s still winter, but we also have fake spring. I tend to feel like I want cozy but also want to read more spring-ish reads. So picking books is hard when I don’t know what I want. So I think I’ll pick only three books this month and leave the other seven as random choices. I also have a couple of advanced reader copies that I need to finish and review. The problem with those is that not all of them come out in March. So the reviews will come out, but not in March. Here are a couple of books I want to read in March:
The Ferryman by Justin Cronin – Book Club Read

The Song Calls by A.W. Powers and Laurie Lynnsee- MN Authors
Violet Thistlewaite Is Not a Villain Anymore- By Emily Krempholtz – Fantasy
Field Guide For The Formerly Villainous by Autumn K England – Fantasy
Those are my four choices! I do have more Advanced Reader Copies, but when picking books, those four are the ones that I wanted to read. One of them is already out, and I never got to it. Ugh, I know I’m so terrible. However, I’m getting to it now, and I can’t wait to see which random six books will be chosen! What about you?
Oh, and here’s an update on my book tracking sweater! I am in love with it so far! I can’t wait to keep working on it! I also need to clip off the ends after crocheting over some. Let’s also not forget that I need to do the collar of the shirt, too. I’ll get there.
