January Over. Bring On February!
What a month it has been. At the start of January, I set myself a TBR of 6 books and then 4 random picks. I read on my Kindle, in physical books, and in audiobooks. This month, however, I listened to a bunch of audiobooks. So most of these were audiobooks. So I might not have all the copies in the store. You can find the audiobooks on Libro.fm or wherever you get your audiobooks. With all that said and done, here’s what I read last month:

The goal was to read 10 books.
I also started and kept up with my book sweater! I know it’s just started, but I already love it and can’t wait to wear it. I did DNF a book this month, so it’s on there. I don’t want to say the book at the moment. I also wanted to say that there wasn’t anything wrong with it. I just couldn’t get into it, so unfortunately, I couldn’t finish it. I did get almost three-quarters of the way through it, but yeah, it was just a struggle to get through that much. I tried!
I did finish 10 books this month, but just barely. Sadly, I also didn’t complete my TBR selection. I never touched The Sea Of Unspoken Things by Adriene Young, but I did start and get about halfway through No Rest For The Dead by A. W. Powers. I am really liking it so far, but unfortunately, I just didn’t get it done. I will finish it, but not in January. I also want to read the next book in the series. I don’t really know why I never picked up The Sea of Unspoken Things. It just didn’t sound good at the moment, so I will put it aside and try to pick it up again. Well, that was my January!
And now on to February!
This month is the month of love thanks to Valentine’s Day, but I already read a bunch of romance, so I think I might do something different. So, because of that, do I go and read horror, or just randomly pick a few things?
Book Club- The Ex-Girlfriend Murder Club by Gloria Chao
New Release- Monster in the Moonlight by Anneliese Ryan
Nonfiction- Rooted by Lyanda Lynn Haupt
Romance- The Naked Truth by Ana Kirk Shaw
MN Author- Steer Clear by Joe Egan
Fantasy- The Baby Dragon Bookshop by Aamna Qureshi
Again, I plan to leave four more books for random selection. February is a shorter month, and sometimes I don’t read ten books. I don’t mind that. Most of the books I chose have come out recently, either this month or last. Two of the books are part of a series that I have been reading, so I couldn’t help but add them to it. I don’t always review other books in a series. If I liked the first one, I tend to just put it in a review and skip the others. I also didn’t put any horror on this list, but I think, because I am so indecisive when it comes to books, I might try to find one later to read.
