1. What is your name and business name?

A Monday In May

2. How did you get into this medium?

I started out making signs and it has evolved from there into other types of woodworking. I added a laser to my business in 2021 and it’s been so fun to learn and create with!

3. What do you listen to when you are in your creating mood?

Music, audiobook, or silence? I usually have the tv on in the background or music. Nothing I have to pay too close attention too!

4. What got you into art?

 I’ve always loved to create, both of my parents are crafters in their own ways so I grew up around it. My mom is a quilter and my dad is a “jack of all trades” and loves a good building project – big or small!

5. What made you want to sell your art?

When I started selling I was mostly making signs and you can only have so many on your own walls so selling them allowed me to create more with the ideas in my head. It’s fun to be in various stores of all types in the metro area!

1. Are you a reader?

 Yes, when I have time I love to read! I’ve recently been trying to get back into reading more.

2. What do you like to read?

 I like to read mostly fiction genres –  psychological thriller, romance, historical fiction. I also enjoy audiobiographies once in a while as well.

3. DO you have a favorite author?

My favorite author is probably Kristin Hannah
