Meet Turn The Hook
- What is your name and business name?
Konrad Breeggemann and Emerson Lindstrand. We own a Woodworking and crochet business called Turn The Hook.
- How did you get into this medium?
Konrad started Wood turning a few years ago by just messing around in his wood shop. Emerson started crocheting because they saw a cute Amigurumi Toy they wanted to make.
- What do you listen to when you are in your creating mood? Music,
audiobook, or silence?
Konrad mainly listens to rock music and the loud noise of his lathe cutting the wood. Emerson usually listens to music.
- What got you into art?
We’ve always just had a passion for creating.
- What made you want to sell your art?
When we realized we cannot keep hundreds of bowls and crochet toys we realized we could sell and bring joy to others.
- What do you want people to know about your art?
It is all handmade and takes a lot of time to create but we love doing it.
Now to the fun stuff:
- Are you a reader?
Emerson is an avid reader and Konrad will occasionally read.
- What do you like to read?
Mystery and horror books
- DO you have a favorite author?
I love a good Frieda McdFadden book.
- If you could recommend any book or series what would it be?
