My Name Is Willy And I’m The Storytime Dog!

Hi, My name is Willy, and I am the story-time dog! I’m four, and I love kids. That’s why my Mom brings me on Wednesdays. Sometimes, though, she doesn’t let me. My Mom is also called Nana. Her three human grandbabies call her that. I don’t know why. She’s my Mom! When I go to the bookstore, I like to say “Hi” to everyone and let the strollers realize I’m the boss!

I love to get cuddles and spend the day running around. Oh, and bark at nothing… I see something, but my Mom likes to tell me there’s nothing there. Sadly, Koda doesn’t like me much yet, so I don’t get to come more, but that’s okay. Work is hard. Sometimes, when I go home, I sleep for the rest of the day.

My Mom also likes to take us to a warm place in the winter so that I won’t be at story time for a couple of weeks, but I want you to know that I’ll miss you. Oh, did I tell you about going for walks? I love walks. I don’t like the large feathered dogs or other dogs in general. Sometimes, I can find yummy treats on the ground. My Mom always yells at me about that, though. Sometimes, after eating a ground treat, I get bad tummy aches. It feels like I’m dying, but Mom says I’m not. Those days, I get lots of cuddles.

When my three mini-human friends come over, I chase them around. I also like that when I stretch, I can lick their faces! It’s the best! I always get so excited that I get the Zoomies! I get the Zoomies sometimes at the store, but Mom doesn’t like that. She’s afraid I’m going to run into someone.
