October Recommendations By Charlotte
Fall is the best time of the year to read, and all the best books also come out around this time. I get so much of my reading done around this time of the year, so I thought I would talk about a few of my favorites for this season. Some I have already reviewed so please feel free to look over the archive.
Romance is not just one of my favorite genres, it’s a passion. When I’m unsure what to read, I always turn to romance. The stories are light, quick, and always leave me with a warm feeling. I have blogs for most of these books that I picked, so if you want to read more, you could always go through the blog archive and read more about them.
One of the most surprising discoveries in my reading journey has been my newfound love for mystery and thriller genres. I never thought I’d be drawn to them, but now I find the cozy side akin to a warm plate of cookies, while the darker, more thrilling side feeds my inner crazy. I’m a sucker for a good plot twist, and these genres never fail to keep me on the edge of my seat.
Fantasy and science fiction are where my heart truly lies when it comes to reading. I’m particularly drawn to the world-building and the way these genres transport me to other worlds where elves and fae are real. The magic and chaos they bring always keep me hooked. And who can resist a good dragon story? The best part about these genres is their versatility-they can contain elements of adventure, romance, and even larger themes, making them a truly captivating read.
I could go on for days, but I should probably stop here. I will include a couple of other genres with books that I would recommend during this time of the year.
Some other things that will be changing on the blog it self is that I will also be posting more and on different topics on the bookish world. I can’t wait to share this journal with you guys!
