Thanks For A Great Book Fair!

It’s been almost a week, and I can finally think about how excellent the book fair was. Also, can I say that it’s nearly been a week, and I am still so happy with how everything went.
First, thank Uptown Bar and Grill for hosting this event. I always have such a great time in their restaurant, and the fact that they let me haul all my stuff there and set it up is one of the best things. The other huge thing I love about this restaurant is that they always support a local teacher and gift them with books! It really shows that they have a huge love for their community. That’s huge for me since my passion for Watertown drove me to create my bookstore. I love seeing other small businesses have success. Oh, and their drink specials are fabulous! The salted caramel hot chocolate totally made my taste buds so happy! So, thank you again to the Uptown Bar and Grills staff for being so kind and helpful. Thank you, Tash and Judd, for letting me come and steal some seating space. I appreciate the opportunity and can’t wait to do another.
Thank you to all who took some time to come out and grab a book, even the few who just stopped in to show their support of my small bookstore. Your presence and support made my dream of owning a bookstore a reality! I would be nothing without my amazing customers! Seriously, though, you guys are the best! I love when you come in to talk to me about books or even give recommendations. You make my day! Your support was integral to the success of the book fair, and I can’t thank you enough for that!
I would also like to thank my parents and husband. My Mom was there with me, helping check out and set up. Thanks so much. I wouldn’t have been able to do this by myself. Next is my Dad. Seriously, I don’t know what I would do without you. You listen to all my crazy ideas and tell me if we can do them. Also, you helped with my website; by that, I mean you made and operated it! Lastly, my husband. Cullen, you are one of the most amazing people I know. Thank you so much for being my tech person and heavy lifter. I appreciate that you carry all the heavy boxes of books into the restaurant and help me figure out how to get my till running. I couldn’t have set up, run, and cleaned up the book fair without these three people.
