The problem is her husband needs her for his purposes, and she keeps secrets from him. When I say TikTok made me read this, I mean it. I was scrolling one day trying to get ideas for the store account when I noticed a TikTok talking about the ice planet barbarian series by Ruby Dixion. Then the girl brought up this book, and when I say she exploded with how cute it was and how well written, I mean, she couldn’t say anything wrong about it, so I had to try it. I have read some of Ruby’s other books, but this one takes the cake. Aspeth is such a wonderful character. Her writing in this book is much better than in her other works. I couldn’t believe that this was the same author. I loved the story and the characters. I was amazed at how well the world sucked you in. It felt like I was alongside the characters, trying to root them on as they pushed against the guild. Normally, monster romance isn’t something I would gravitate to, but I was surprised with how adorable this story was. The dual point of view helped me understand the gravity of both sides and how they could help each other out. This book was very spicy and had a 5-star rating for me. Check it out. It is also available on Libro. fm!
