June and July Reading Recap
I think I forgot to post about my June reading, and now I’m writing about July. The sad part is that I did actually write a post and take pictures for it, but I never actually posted it. Oops! The big thing to take away from that is that I no longer like my crochet sweater shirt thing…. I had a clear picture in my head, and while I could push myself to finish it, I don’t want to finish something that I don’t like and would never wear. So I have decided to do something else. The big question is, will I be able to finish it before the year is up?
My new project is a bookworm! haha! The girl who doesn’t like making stuffies is going to crochet a bookworm. After the head is done, each color will be the book I read, and it will still match the original colors. I am just changing the project but not the yarn. I think I will have enough yarn to make it through the year, but as I get closer and closer to my reading goal, I might not.
Please don’t get mad at me again, but I forgot to track the actual book titles, just my star reviews….. Sorry! I did, however, read 12 books in June and 9 books in July.
So August is going to be great! haha!
I want to read these 5 books:
- The Sun-Blessed Prince by Lindsey Byrd
- The Coffee Shop of Curiosity by Heather Webber
- Autumn At the Cat Cafe by Kathleen Fuller
- The Tarot Trials by Katee Robert
- Slasher Summer by E L Chein
I am also in a fall reading mood, and yes, I know it’s still summer, but after Summerween I couldn’t help but keep reading spookyish books.
Here’s how the bookworm is coming along! I still have a ways to go to get caught up but I am liking it much more than the sweater!
